• Our two dogs are a Dachshund mix, they are super sweet and love socializing with other dogs!
• We always confirm with the pet parent as to the needs of the dogs in our care.
• Dogs are allowed on the furniture and are welcome to sleep anywhere they choose!
• We have extra leashes, food/water bowls, treats, etc. if necessary.

Hi I’m Gina and I am the proud pack leader of The Paw Nanny, where pups play while you’re away! What started as a love for furry friends turned into a full-time gig of belly rubs, park adventures, and treating every pup like a VIP (Very Important Pooch). Whether it’s a quick stroll or a weekend sleepover, The Paw Nanny team brings energy, reliability, and a whole lot of treats to every visit. When not out walking dogs, you’ll probably find us talking to squirrels or perfecting the art of the squeaky toy toss!

Hi, I’m Trish! Dogs have always been a big part of my life—I’ve shared my home with Boxers, Rottweilers, and now a spirited Portuguese Water Dog and a goofy Standard Poodle mix. I love spending time training, teaching fun tricks, and especially running agility courses with my PWD (she’s the real athlete in the family!). Whether it’s playtime, training, or just a good cuddle, I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality.

Gina took care of Rudy and Maggie for 7 days. We had never left them for that long. Maggie has some issues( fearful of large trucks). I am so happy to have found Gina! I just recently moved to the area and I was looking for someone to take my little guy out on walks a couple days a week and to potentially stay overnight when I go out of town. From the beginning, Gina was very friendly and made both me and Milo feel very comfortable. We had a meet and greet with her so she and Milo can get accustomed, and I also got to meet her dogs and see where he would be staying when I leave him overnight. You can tell she truly loves animals and cares about keeping them active and entertained. I trust her completely in my home and with my Milo. Again, so grateful to have someone like her in my area. This place is truly a gem. It is situated in a nice area of Huntington and kind of had the "Air B and B" vibe for dogs since it's in a home and the people make your pet part of the family. They have a nice yard outside where the dogs can play with toys and even lay around on lounge furniture. Not the typical boarding place where you will see many other dogs that go in cages. Def recommend this to any person that truly loves their pet.

I use the Paw Nanny regularly for my dogs when I have to go out of town, and it's far more than just an overnight stay. Gina has dogs of her own my dogs socialize with, which means they get a ton of exercise playing together. Whenever my dogs get returned to me, they come back happier, healthier, and somehow better trained than before. The Paw Nanny's attentiveness and care is incomparable. They use the PetPocketbook app, which makes everything—from scheduling to payments—super convenient. After each walk, we receive a detailed “report card” complete with photos and notes on how the visit went. It’s such a nice touch and gives us total peace of mind. One of the things I really appreciate is how attentive the walkers are, especially during hot weather. If it’s too warm for a full walk, they immediately adjust plans and make sure our pup is safe and still gets some activity and love.
