Additionally, hiking trails near Upper Buttermilk Falls are just a stone’s (or stick’s) throw away. For a little $30 more each night, you may bring your dog (only in non-electric tents). The majority of the ten participating wineries on the neighboring Cayuga Lake Wine Trail are dog-friendly, with many even hiding treats behind their counters, which is sure to delight dog owners.
With a water park, Wi-Fi, cable TV, tennis and basketball courts, a cafe, a pond with paddle boats, and a trolley shuttle service, the Lake George RV Park is one of the few luxury RV parks. The best part is that pets are welcome. “Charlie’s Bark Park,” a two-acre off-leash dog park with both large and little dog spaces, allows dogs to run about. There are walking routes, a turf play area, a dog spray fountain, a pet treat selling area, and an inside dog wash station.
